NEW CENTIPEDE TYRES

Centipede series from Sime Tyres (Simex) is well-known among 4x4 enthusiast, mainly for its extreme versions for muddy tracks. The recently launched two new tyres for SUVs and pickups, engineered in Germany and produced in Malaysia, complements the Continental Sime Tyres 4x4 range.
The Centipede AT is developed for all drivers who use their 4WD vehicles off-road but still want a comfortable margin of safety in road traffic. Regardless of the road condition, be it tarmac, mud, sand or stone, nothing stops the AT. Its twin-stage groove design increases traction on edges and prevents stones from being wedged in its tread, allowing it to disperse gravel with ease. The saw tooth shaped pattern design improves traction with the ground and increases steering response, making it easier to traverse mud and sand. The computer-designed pattern reduces noise peaks while the low stiffness and density compound provide all-round driving comfort. The optimized block stiffness with cut and chip resistant compound ensures an all-round even tread wear and is suitable for all kinds of road surfaces, ensuring a longer tire lifespan.
The Centipede HT is an exceptional performer, either on wet or dry road conditions. It grips on every corner with all four tyres biting into the tarmac while advanced technology  minimizes  tire noise. The triple centre rib design with multiple longitudinal and lateral grooves optimizes tread block stability under braking conditions and allows for shorter braking distances on wet or dry surfaces. The optimized flat tire contour and wear resistant tread compound evens the ground pressure distribution and the low tread wear increases  mileage performance.
