THE ULTIMATE ALL-TERRAIN RESCUE PICK-UP

The Nissan Navara EnGuard Concept, unveiled at the 2016 Hannover Motor Show is a durable and tough all-terrain pick-up, designed to operate as a life-saving rescue platform in some of the world’s most harsh and extreme environments.
Based on a Double Cab Tekna version of the Nissan Navara it features many bespoke design elements and performance upgrades. It is also packed with vital equipment suitable for emergency and disaster recovery work, including an advanced drone to provide vital intelligence about what dangers rescue crews might face.

WINTER WARRIORS

In celebration of the Chicago Auto Show, Nissan is giving three of its popular crossovers a little competitive edge – creating one-off versions of its popular Pathfinder, Murano and Rogue equipped with sets of heavy-duty snow tracks.
All three Nissan Winter Warriors feature custom heavy-duty track systems with custom matte black finish frames. The DOMINATOR Tracks, from American Track Truck, are 48 inches long, 30 inches high and 15 inches wide and replace the vehicles’ wheels and tires. The suspensions and wheel wells were modified to fit the snow tracks, but otherwise all drivetrain components, including the engines and Xtronic transmissions, are factory fresh.

NISSAN'S ALL NEW PICK-UP

The all-new Nissan NP300 Navara sets a new benchmark in the one-tonne pick-up sector, combining the best of Nissan's crossover leadership with over 80 years of experience in designing and manufacturing robust and cleverly engineered pick-ups.

DONGFENG NISSAN KICKS OFF 2015 WITH VENUCIA T70

Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company launched T70, the first SUV and new model in 2015 from the local Venucia brand. Priced from RMB 89,800 to 127,800, T70 is very competitively priced for medium-size, joint-venture brand SUVs in China.
Available with the Nissan HR16DE or MR20DE engine, T70 is equipped with the reputable XTRONIC CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), while a manual transmission option is also offered.

NISSAN TITAN MAKES WORLD DEBUT IN DETROIT

Nissan debuted the all-new Nissan TITAN full-size pickup to a standing room-only crowd of international media at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detorit.
Presiding over the dramatic reveal was Nissan President and Chief Executive Officer Carlos Ghosn, who stated, With the 2016 Nissan TITAN XD, we werent just going for best-in-class. Instead, we are offering the Best New Class.’

NISSAN KICKS OFF KICKS CONCEPT

Nissan Brazil debuted the bold new Nissan Kicks Concept at the São Paulo International Motor Show, Latin America's largest and most prestigious motor show.
Under the leadership of Global Design Center in Japan, the Kicks Concept was a collaboration between Nissan Design America (NDA) in San Diego, California and Nissan Design America Rio (NDA-R), Nissan's recently opened satellite design studio located at Nissan's Brazilian headquarters. The Kicks name is intended to express the concept car's combination of agility, athletic attitude and also its tough demeanor.

NISSAN PROJECT TITAN READY FOR ALASKAN ADVENTURE

With help from the passionate Nissan Trucks Facebook fan base, the crowd-sourced, custom-made Project Titan is complete. The ruggedly tailored 2014 Nissan Titan, piloted by two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni, is now primed with all the necessary equipment to take on the rigorous Alaskan wilderness in an adventure began yesterday.
Starting with a solid foundation a rugged 2014 Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X fans voted on 10 different areas of customization to help the Titan conquer Alaskas challenging terrain some of the most treacherous in the world. Fans voted at each stage along the way, giving Nissan direction for almost every inch of the truck.

NISSAN OPENS NEW PLANT IN THAILAND

Nissan yesterday announced the opening of its second production plant in Thailand to produce the NP300 Navara, Nissans new generation pickup truck, destined for export to 45 countries around the world.



Nissan has invested 3.7 billion Thai Baht in the 580,000 square meter facility, bringing with it 2,000 new job opportunities. Full production capacity is expected to reach 150,000 units per annum. More than half of the vehicles produced at this new plant will be exported to global markets. The localization ratio of vehicles produced is already at 85 percent, including the engine plant.

THE ORIGINAL CROSSOVER REINVENTED


Nissan’s Qashqai is long established as the leader in the crossover market, with more than 2.0 million produced since 2007. The all-new Qashqai is set to enhance Nissan’s crossover leadership position when it goes on sale in selected global markets from January 2014.



The second-generation model is 20mm wider, 49mm longer and 15mm lower than the current car. Yet despite this reduction in height, front and rear headroom levels have actually increased by 10mm and the raised driving position remains.
