RAPTORS TO INFEST CHINA

Ford announces that the all-new F-150 Raptor SuperCrew – the high performance off-road pickup – will be available in China in 2017, delivering a new level of capability to China’s off-road enthusiasts.
F-150 Raptor is unique among off-road performance vehicles, with a purpose-built engine, chassis and suspension – all of which enable it to travel fast over challenging desert landscapes or crawl over rocky terrain, from Baja to the Gobi Desert.

The new Ford F-150 Raptor race truck will leverage Raptor’s production platform including its all-new high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and 10-speed transmission, along with torque-on-demand transfer case.
Putting the all-new Raptor through the grueling stretch of races Best in the Desert off-road racing series’ new factory stock class will help demonstrate how a truck born in the desert is even more prepared to take on the very toughest of terrain.

Ford Motor Company together with BraunAbility brings greater mobility to people in wheelchairs.
The BraunAbility MXV is the company’s first-ever volume production SUV offering. It features patented sliding-door technology, removable driver and passenger seats, and a powered, lighted in-floor ramp. In addition, the interior space of the vehicle is maximized to create ample room for wheelchair navigation and comfort.

AMERICA'S BEST SELLING POLICE VEHICLE

Ford unveiled the new Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicle at the Chicago Auto Show. It is the only Pursuit Rated midsize utility vehicle with standard all-wheel drive.
Since its introduction in 2012, Police Interceptor Utility quickly became America’s best-selling police vehicle, with a market share of 55 percent. Moreover, the Chicago-built Police Interceptor Utility and Police Interceptor Sedan are sold in more than 80 markets around the world.

3rd GENERATION OF POWER WHEELS F-150

Ford and Fisher-Price took the F-150 in a whole new dimension, unveiling the Power Wheels F-150. 



The ride-on toy, which retails starting at $349.99 beginning in September, was inspired by the 2015 F-150. Ford engineers shared designs nine months before the new truck debuted at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

FORD AT THE CUTTING EDGE

Ford today revealed the all-new Edge, a high tech smart utility vehicle that will go on sale across Europe for the first time in 2015, as the third chapter in Ford's SUV expansion plan for Europe - joining the new Kuga medium-sized SUV and the all-new EcoSport small SUV.
In Europe, Ford will offer for Edge two versions of Ford's 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine: a 180 HP version delivering 400 Nm of torque and projected 149 g/km CO2, with 6-speed manual transmission, a 210 HP version delivering 450 Nm of torque and projected 159 g/km CO2, with 6-speed PowerShift automatic and paddle-shift controls.

NEW FLAGSHIP SUV FOR EUROPE

Ford revealed the all-new Ford Edge Concept to give a strong indication of the company’s new large SUV for Europe.


Already popular in the U.S. and other markets, the Edge will be Ford’s first large SUV developed for Europe, one of 25 global vehicles that Ford confirmed last year will go on sale in Europe by 2017. With the Edge, new Kuga and new EcoSport, Ford will offer a comprehensive line-up of redesigned SUVs.

HISTORIC JEEP LINE

Omix-ADA displayed several wartime Jeeps - including three early prototypes - at this year’s SEMA show.


The collection includes a variety of historically significant Jeeps, chronicling the brand’s history from pre-WWII prototypes through an amphibious Jeep to the modern day Wrangler JK. The three prototypes being brought to this year’s SEMA show include a Ford GP, a Bantam BRC40 and a Willys MA, all from 1941, as part of its celebration of Jeep military history.

FORD RANGERS FOR MILITARY SERVICE


Ford has been chosen by the UK Ministry of Defence to supply over 100 Ranger pick-up vehicles, to be used by the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Ministry.



Ford’s rugged off-roader, winner of the International Pick-Up Award for 2013, will see service in a variety of roles, carrying personnel, MoD civilians and their equipment around Britain.
