WORLD PREMIERE OF MITSUBISHI'S SMALL CROSSOVER MPV CONCEPT

Mitsubishi will debut a small crossover MPV concept car at the Indonesia International Auto Show 2016.

The Mitsubishi XM concept car fuses the toughness of an SUV with the versatility of an MPV. It uses a wide body and optimized layout to provide interior space to allow seven occupants to relax in comfort.

WORLD DEBUT OF THE NEW PAJERO SPORT

Mitsubishi today held the world premiere of first full-redesign of the Pajero Sport mid-size SUV in seven years in Thailand, where it is produced.
In its appearance, the all-new Pajero Sport uses the new “Dynamic Shield” front face design concept. The high-quality stylish design uses both sporty and dynamic elements. The interior uses a high console proportion dashboard, as befits a larger SUV, while dynamically styled silver-finish ornamentation and sculpted seats add to its luxurious feel.

MOST FUTURISTIC CONCEPT FROM MITSUBISHI

Mitsubishi unveiled the futuristic Concept GC-PHEV at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. The full-size SVU concept provides a glimpse at the brand’s new design language applied to a large vehicle.
The Concept GC-PHEV features bold, muscular styling, a powerful yet highly efficient 335 horsepower supercharged MIVEC V-6 engine/electric motor plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) drivetrain, an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) full-time all-wheel drive and advanced next-generation high-tech features.

PHILIPPINES IS THE FIRST STOP FOR ALL-NEW TRITON

Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has commenced the export of the all-new Triton pickup truck – one of Mitsubishi’s top sellers.

The all-new Triton went on sale in Thailand in November 2014. MMC plans to roll out the all-new Triton starting in the Philippines, then sequentially in ASEAN, Oceania, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Latin America, eventually exporting to some 150 countries.

Mitsubishi will unveil a world premiere compact SUV concept car featuring MMCs @earth TECHNOLOGY stable of environmental technologies at the 85th Geneva International Motor Show
The new compact SUV concept was designed to achieve top-of-class reduced CO2  emissions through its light, compact, and high-performance PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) system.

THE 5th GENERATION OF MITSUBISHI PICKUP TRUCK

Mitsubishi unveiled the all-new Triton one-ton pickup truck - one of its long-time global best-sellers - in Thailand yesterday. The all-new Triton gets its full redesign in nine years and marks the fifth-generation model.
Mitsubishi Motors launched its first pickup truck in 1978. In the 36 years covering the first-generation Forte to the fourth-generation Triton/L200 models, Mitsubishi’s pickup trucks have gained a strong user base worldwide, selling over four million units. Pickup truck manufacturing focused on Thailand from the third-generation model and it is produced at Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co. Ltd.s Laem Chabang Plant. The all-new Triton will be launched sequentially in ASEAN, Oceania, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Latin America, eventually exporting it to some 150 countries.

FACTORY SUPPORT FOR OUTLANDER PHEV COMPETING IN ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that it will dispatch a team of technical support engineers for an Outlander PHEV entered in the T1.3 4x4 Electric class of the grueling 2,200 km FIA-certified Asia Cross Country Rally 2014 (AXCR) from August 9 through 15, to be run from Thailand to Cambodia.



The Two & Four Motor Sports rally team (Two & Four), headed by Kenji Ishida, will run an Outlander PHEV in the race for the second straight year. MMC engineers will provide technical support for the plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive SUV for the duration of the rally. Mitsubishi aims to utilize valuable data and knowhow acquired by the technical support team in future vehicle development.
