After its first premiere at the New York Motor Show in January, Bombardier Recreational Products displayed Can-Am Spyder Hybrid concept in Geneva, too.
The concept, developed in co-operation with Sherbrooke University, Canada is a plug-in hybrid vehicle that will be equipped with an electric motor, lithium-ion battery and the 998cc Rotax Advanced Combustion Efficiency (ACE) engine, delivering 106hp.
BRP are aiming to improve fuel efficiency by 50 percent compared to the current Can-Am Spyder, with comparable acceleration and a total range of more than 600km with one tank of gasoline.
